About the Sheriff's Dept.
The Sheriff's Department is Rocky County RP's in-character law enforcement. Deputies patrol town streets and county roads, take calls for service, work traffic, and carry investigations from the scene to the courthouse. It is a roleplay department on a QBCore server, not a real law-enforcement agency.
The day-to-day job is patrol, traffic stops, and investigations. You use voice radio and Sonoran CAD, write reports other players can follow, and leave room for suspects and witnesses to respond. Ranks and field training are set by department command. Nobody goes on duty until staff approve the application.
What you'll do
- Patrol and responseAnswer calls across the county and keep a visible, professional presence.
- TrafficRun traffic stops, work crashes, and handle pursuits only within department policy.
- InvestigationsCollect statements and evidence, write the report, and send a case to court when it belongs there.
- Sonoran CADLog calls, run plates and IDs, and file reports in the CAD/MDT.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Join the Rocky County RP Discord and keep direct messages open so staff can reach you.
- Have a working microphone and be willing to use it on the radio.
- Be able to play a few hours a week. Shifts are set with command after you are accepted.
- Complete the written application on this site, in your own words.
- No real-life law-enforcement certification or academy is required, and none is claimed.
- Read the server rules. Staff and department command must approve you before you go on duty.
How to apply
- Make sure you're in our Discord and have read the rules.
- Fill out the Sheriff's Department application.
- Wait for a response from department leadership (usually via Discord).
- If accepted, complete training and start your career in Rocky County.
