About the Judge
Judges preside over Rocky County hearings, review warrant requests, and pass sentence in character. Seats are limited. This is a roleplay bench, not a real judicial office, and no legal qualification is required or claimed.
The work is procedure and restraint. Open the hearing, take both sides, rule on what was actually presented, and write an outcome the rest of the county can follow. Prior court roleplay helps, but it is not required. Impartiality is, including when friends are involved. Staff approval is required.
What you'll do
- Hearings and trialsOpen, run, and close court, and keep the room in order.
- RulingsWeigh the record in front of you and sentence within the server's penal code.
- WarrantsReview search and arrest warrants and grant or deny them with a reason.
- ProcedureApply the same courtroom process to every case, not a different one for friends.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Join the Rocky County RP Discord and keep direct messages open so staff can reach you.
- Have a working microphone and be able to play a few hours a week, including scheduled hearings.
- Complete the written application on this site, in your own words.
- No real-life legal qualification is required, and none is claimed. Prior court roleplay is helpful, not required.
- Stay impartial, including toward friends, and be in good standing with no recent punishments.
- Staff must approve you. Openings are limited.
How to apply
- Make sure you're in our Discord and have read the rules.
- Fill out the Judge application.
- Wait for a response from department leadership (usually via Discord).
- If accepted, complete training and start your career in Rocky County.
